Edith is a CORU-registered Senior Occupational Therapist with over a decade of clinical experience in paediatric practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin, where she was awarded the prestigious title of Trinity Scholar in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Edith has extensive experience working with children presenting with a wide range of developmental needs, including sensory processing differences, neurodevelopmental conditions, complex developmental profiles, and physical needs. She also has experience in postural management and 24-hour postural care, supporting children who require specialised positioning and equipment to optimise comfort, function, and participation.
She is highly experienced in conducting comprehensive, standardised assessments and translating these into meaningful, individualised intervention plans that support both the child and their family in everyday life.
Edith brings valuable experience working across public and private healthcare settings, which gives her a strong understanding of clinical pathways, service systems, and multidisciplinary supports. This enables her to effectively guide families in accessing appropriate services and ensuring that the right supports are in place for each child.
Her approach is firmly client-centred, combining strong clinical reasoning with a warm, engaging style that enables her to build trusting relationships with children and their families. Edith places particular emphasis on understanding each child’s unique strengths and challenges, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based, functional, and meaningful within the child’s daily life.
